Privacy Policy
Plyven publishes two games. Each product has its own privacy policy below — the same text shown inside that game.
The Case Files
This Privacy Policy describes how The Case Files (“The Case Files”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile applications, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). The Case Files is an interactive mystery product aimed at teens and adults—not at young children.
1. Who we are
The Case Files is an interactive mystery and storytelling experience for older players (teen and adult case catalogs). This policy applies to accounts created in the app (email or Google sign-in) and to related backend services that power gameplay, subscriptions, and support.
2. Information we collect
Account information. Email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), display or detective name, and optional profile fields such as first or last name. If you use Google sign-in, we receive the profile details Google shares for authentication (typically name, email, and profile image).
Gameplay and usage. Case progress, saved sessions, messages and actions you send during play, discovery history, and usage counters tied to your plan (for example cases played or audio responses used in a billing period).
Billing. Plan type, subscription status, and related provider metadata from Stripe (web) or Apple App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat (native). We do not store full payment card numbers in our own databases; card details are handled by those payment providers.
Technical data. Basic device and connection information needed to operate and secure the Service (such as app version, platform, and server logs). We may use this to diagnose errors and prevent abuse.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to create and secure your account; run investigations and save progress; personalize content where appropriate; enforce plan limits; process subscriptions and receipts; send transactional email (for example password reset); provide customer support; improve and debug the Service; and comply with law.
Artificial intelligence. When you play, the text of your actions and related game context may be sent to third-party AI providers so the Service can generate narrative replies, case content, images, or speech. Those providers process that content only to deliver the features you request, subject to their own terms and our agreements with them. Avoid submitting sensitive personal data of others into the game chat.
4. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including hosting and databases, authentication, email delivery, payment processors, app stores, analytics or crash tools if enabled, and AI APIs. They may process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the Service, our users, or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction under appropriate safeguards.
5. Age and children
The Case Files is not directed to children under 13. Our case catalog for this product includes teen and adult age ranges. You must meet the minimum age required by law in your country (and any higher age we state in the stores) to create an account and use the Service.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict it. If you are a parent and believe your child under 13 used this product, contact us at the address below.
6. Retention
We keep account and gameplay information while your account is active. If you close your account in the app, we soft-delete it: the account is deactivated, you are signed out, and your email is freed so you may register again later. We may retain internal records (including prior progress and billing history) for security, disputes, backups, and legal obligations for a reasonable period.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information (including encrypted transport and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. In the app you can: update profile fields; request a password reset by email; and close your account (Profile → Delete account).
Closing an account does not cancel an App Store, Google Play, or Stripe subscription by itself. Manage or cancel renewals in the same place you subscribed. For other requests, email us at the contact below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. By using the Service you understand that your information may be transferred to and stored outside your country of residence.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date in the app when we do. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the Service. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy where permitted by law.

Mystery Club
This Privacy Policy describes how Mystery Club (“Mystery Club”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile applications, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). Mystery Club is a kids- and family-oriented mystery game. If you are a parent or guardian, please read this policy carefully before creating an account for a child.

2. Information we collect

We recommend that parents or guardians create and control the account used by a child.
Gameplay and usage. Case progress, saved sessions, messages and actions sent during play, discovery history, and usage counters tied to the subscription plan (for example cases played or audio responses used in a billing period).

3. How we use information
We use this information to create and secure the account; run mysteries and save progress; personalize club content where appropriate; enforce plan limits; process subscriptions and receipts; send transactional email (for example password reset); provide support; improve and debug the Service; and comply with law.
Artificial intelligence. When someone plays, the text of their actions and related game context may be sent to third-party AI providers so the Service can generate narrative replies, case content, images, or speech suitable for a family audience. Those providers process that content to deliver the features requested, subject to their terms and our agreements with them. We ask that children do not type personal details (home address, school name, phone number, or full real name beyond a display name) into the game chat.
4. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including hosting and databases, authentication, email delivery, payment processors, app stores, crash or diagnostics tools if enabled, and AI APIs. They may process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the Service, our users (including children), or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction under appropriate safeguards.
5. Children and parental responsibility
Mystery Club is directed to children and families. Parents and guardians are responsible for: creating and supervising the account; deciding whether a child may use the Service; reviewing the child’s activity; and managing purchases and subscriptions.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country) without a parent or guardian having created or approved the account. If you believe a child provided information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict that information where required by law.
6. Retention
We keep account and gameplay information while the account is active. If you close the account in the app, we soft-delete it: the account is deactivated, users are signed out, and the email is freed so it may be registered again later.
Parents should keep passwords private and use device parental controls where available.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you or a parent/guardian may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. In the app you can: update profile fields; request a password reset by email; and close the account (Profile → Delete account).
Closing an account does not cancel an App Store, Google Play, or Stripe subscription by itself. Manage or cancel renewals in the same place the subscription was purchased. For other requests, email us at the contact below. We may need to verify identity (and parental authority where appropriate) before fulfilling a request.
9. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. By using the Service you understand that information may be transferred to and stored outside your country of residence.
